Thermal is free, open-source and cross-platform desktop application build using Electron & Vue.js, allowing users to manage their Git repositories at one place by providing a simple to use graphic interface with built-in features like commits, history, repository settings and more.

The code is written in Node.js and Vue.js, in some parts Vuex is used to store and manage data internally but the core team has verified[1] they are planning to use SQLite Database.

History Edit

The software was originally started as a side-project on March 2019, by Yashu Mittal to learn Electron but he was more intrigued by it and plan to continue the development.

Later, in April 2019 the owner of the project was transferred to CodeCarrot.
